IM "aggregation" with BitlBee

Some days ago axel-fox asked me if it would be possible to install BitlBee on the shell server where his account lives. As user-requests are always welcome I finally installed BitlBee yesterday.
BitlBee is a IM "aggregation" -> IRC Gateway. It lets you manage all of your IM accounts centralized on an IRC-like server. The supported protocols are: ICQ, AIM, MSN, Jabber and yahoo.
BitlBee is pretty cool. You just connect to localhost:6667 with your favourite IRC client and find yourself in an IRC channel called "&bitlbee". Then with the simple command "register" you register your nickname to the BitlBee server. Then you can add with "account add" all of your different IM accounts. Finalize it with a "account on" and you will be "online".
The nicklists from AIM, MSN, yahoo and jabber will be read from the corresponding server, so you can directly start chatting. Just type "<nickname>: <message>" and it will be sent to the contacts IM account.

Doomy hat BitlBee auf seinem Server installiert. Gute sache denn ich wollt das schon immer mal probieren. Ist auf jeden Fall praktisch nur noch ein Prog. fuer IRC und IM zu haben. Centericq kann zwar auch IRC und alle IM Protokolle, allerdings find ich Ce

Doomy hat fuer mich bitlbee [1] auf dem Shell Server installiert. So kann ich jetzt ueber irssi [2] auch meine IM-Kontakte erreichen. Bisher habe ich immer centericq [3] als IM-Client genutzt. Ich kann jetzt nicht sagen, ich sei damit nicht zufrieden g
