St. Patrick's Cathedral? Pfffft!

Just walked about 1.5 hours through Dublin. My destination was St. Patrick's Cathedral- about 4.5km away from my hotel. I was interessted in this place, as many internet sites praided it as lovely building and a 'must-visit'. Well, when I arrived, I was pretty disappointed. One half is a rotten stone building, and the other half is covered by blue construction-canvas cover. Seems that they are rebuilding parts of it. And it's not big as all (compared e. g. with the cologne cathedral). So I took some photos of this crappy build and went on.

Now I'm on my way to temple bar... Let's see how this area of Dublin is like.

Btw. Sightseeing with Google Maps and GPS on your cell phone is pretty comfortable and makes fun :-)
