Neue tragbare Kommunikationseinrichtung
So... jetzt bin ich "stolzer" Besitzer eines Apple iPhone. Mein persoenl. Apple-Fanboism-Counter ist somit rapide nach oben geschnellt. 
Da ich ja schon seit ein paar Monaten Besitzer eines iPod Touch (aka Tatsch) bin, hat mich das iPod/iPhone Konzept mehr und mehr begeistert. Eigentlich bin ich ja eingefleischter Blackberry Fan, aber Sachen wie der full featured Safari Browser und ein paar andere Sachen haben mich gegen das Bold oder das Storm von Blackberry entscheiden lassen. Ausserdem hab ich jetzt Telefon und iPod in einem Geraet- sprich ein Geraet weniger mit mir rumtragen.
Ich bin echt begeistert von dem Geraet. Ausgepackt, SIM Karte rein, einschalten, kurz mit iTunes aktivieren, fertig. Dank mod_ipod fuer foobar2k bin ich dann auch nicht mehr auf iTunes angewiesen um das Geraet mit Mukke oder Videos zu beladen. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung.
Das angebissene Apfel-Logo ist btw. auch schon durch eine angebissene Ananas ersetzt worden (Insider werden wissen was damit gemeint ist )

Ok. It's about 12h since I am working with Mac OS X and I am more or less getting used to it. There are some things that are not (yet) working as I like them to work, but I think I will get this figured out as well.I've tried out a bunch of software, but I think that I finally found the configuration that works best for me:
- Browser: Safari (with some plugins from www.pimpmysafari.org)
- Mail: Apple's Mail.app (with GPGMail)
- Calendar Application: Apple's iCal.app (with SpanningSync to sync my Google Calendar)
- IRC/IM: Colloquy, Skype, PSI
- Audio-Player: Cog
- Terminal: iTerm with zsh/screen
- Mobile sync: PocketMac
- Office stuff: iWork '08
- Programming: vim
- Photography stuff: Lightroom, Photoshop
That's all I need for efficient working and I have to admit, that on Mac OS X you can work very efficient. All in all I am very pleased with my new toy (especially the battery duration is awesome: >5 hours while working as usual).
