Testing B/W

Yesterday I tested the B/W feature of the EOS 5D Mk II. Works pretty nice- directly out of the box. The results of my first test footage are really impressive.

Here are the guitar chords for Ella Larsson's "Lara's Song" (you probably know that song from the T-Mobile ad ("[...] such a peaceful, peaceful christmas")). I'm not sure if this is 100% correct, but at least this is how it sounds to me and how I play it.

(Tuning: Half-step down)

I suggest to use fingerpicking instead of stumming (just stumm the last note).

Coldplay - Clocks (Cover)

Lately I spent lots of my free time to make music as it is real big fun for me to do so. Yesterday I thought, instead of covering only small parts of a song, it would be great to make a whole song. Said... done! It took me a bunch of hours, but finally I am done. My full cover of "Clocks" from Coldplay. All instruments and tracks are played by myself. I have to admid... it doesn't sound too bad :-)



I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed creating it :-)

One Man Band ;-)

I tought it would be cool to make a "music video" with different voices/instruments all played by the one-man-band ;-)



Unfortunately my video cutting software messed up the format and it's not complete in sync, but well.. not too bad for a first try ;-)

Jaja.. ich weiss- wenig los hier in letzter Zeit. Aber in einer Sache kann ich euch zuminest beruhigen... Ja! Ich lebe noch :-) Und ich war heute sogar mal wieder kreativ und hab ein kleines nettes Melodiechen zusammengeklampft das mir beim "jammen" in den Kopf kam. Mir gefaellts gut- ist andererseits aber auch nichts besonderes ;-)


(100% selbst "komponiert" und alle Instrumente persoenlich eingespielt ;-) )

Neues Schaetzchen

Heute ist es angekommen... mein neues Schaetzchen :-) Es ist eine Ibanez SZR 520 (Dark Honey Sunburst). Hab' am Samstag im MusicStore so einige Gitarren probegespielt, aber die hat mir definitiv am Besten zugesagt. Tolles Teil. Spielt sich nicht nur gut und hat 'nen geilen Sound- sieht auch noch supercool aus! \o/

Kreativ?

Ich hab' mich mal wieder am Song "komponieren" (oder wie syn so schoen sagt: "klimpern") versucht und das hier ist bis jetzt dabei rausgekommen.

Auch wenn das Feedback bis jetzt durchweg recht schlecht war, gefaellts mir persoenlich eigentlich recht gut.

I've rearranged the whole thing a bit and added a lead voice to the song as well. Sounds more like the original now though it's still pretty bad ;-) The timing is not very good as well- but you know... it's all just for the fun :-)
